Travel & Food

Well, I was able to take a few pictures of the neighborhood. It's a small little place, and very, very quiet at night. They weren't kidding when they said it was residential.

Towards the shops

We eventually made it to the train station. It's going to be fun and we're all prepared to get lost at least once since they don't give us a map (Thanks, temple!).

We had a guide with us so we got to the city without and problems. It's just getting there again, by ourselves, which we're all excited about.

Later that night, me and a friend went out to explore a little bit (and get food).  We found a neat little tori.

We then headed to the market. Later at night it is, the lower the prices it. I fell asleep before 9:30, but tonight I plan to clean up!

Premade meals. (The rice balls were 68 yen. I got two for breakfast the next day. :P)

You will never, ever go thirsty in this country. These machines are EVERYWHERE.

We got back and headed up the food. It was surprisingly normal. :D I really enjoyed my food. I just hate that they put the calories on everything. Let me pretend for a bit, dammit!

Had to experiment. I haven't finished it..

It's a chicken cutlet with some sweet sauce on it, right, and pasta salad

All in all, it was good. Had to do my first "be quiet" last night. I don't mind being that person. I need my sleep!

  1. So what how much do you have to spend daily on food? I still do not understand the whole Yen thing.
