Neighborhood + Asakusa + Ueno + Akibara

I did things today! First, I went to try to find a jogging route and took some more pictures of the neighborhood.

It had a smile on it. I could resist.

After that, we made it to Asakusa. It had a temple and a lot of really nice looking things. I didn't buy anything. I'm trying to save it for when I have a clear attack plan so to speak. I took A LOT of pictures, so I'll only upload a few. The rest will be on the Flickr.

It was filled with purple sweet potato. It wasn't bad. :)

I got to ask them in Japanese. :D

After Asakusa, we headed over to Ueno. Mostly to see the park. But I thought it was really nice. I want to go back before I leave to see everything when it's not so dead.

This was a vocal cat.

After Ueno, we went over to Akiabara. This is where anime fans seem to gather. A lot of anime posters and ads for maid cafes (cafes were girls/women dress as made, call you "Master" and serve you food. They were all up and down the streets calling people in). It was very lively though. We didn't go in any stores, but it was fun to look at.

Creepy maid doll.

We ended up eating at a japanese place that served italian food. I ate "doria." It was like lasagna with rice instead of noodles. It was nice. I also had melon soda. :)
